What can I put In the dumpster?
Dumpsters will dispose of most not-hazardous materials such as construction debris, concrete, gravel, cement, siding, roofing, drywall, wood, household junk, appliances, furniture, green waste yard trimmings sod, rocks, mixed cardboard, paper scrap metal and dirt. Heavy materials may be restricted to certain size containers because the weight would exceed DOT regulations and be unsafe to haul.
What CANNOT be placed in the dumpster?
We DO NOT accept hazardous waste, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids) other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission ,oil. lubricating, hydraulic oil, oil filters, contaminated oils mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc. antifreeze, petroleum- contaminated soil/lead paint chips, tires, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, microwaves, fluorescent tubes, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, all liquids, flammable, toxic and/or hazardous materials, thinners, lacquers, asbestos, batteries, infectious waste, contaminated soils, fuels, inks, resins, car batteries food wastes, adhesives or industrial drums, or “Special” waste, as defined by Local, State, and Federal laws or regulations. We cannot accept refrigerators, freezer units, and air conditioners.
Ordering
How full can the dumpster be filled?
For general waste, including household and construction waste, you may fill the dumpster to the top. You may fill the dumpster completely full but the material must not exceed the top edge of the dumpster; nothing can be sticking out of the top. We must be able to safely tarp the container and ensure that no material will fly out of the container as it is being hauled on the roadways. For dense materials, such as gravel, dirt, concrete, plaster, brick, block, etc. you may fill the dumpster to the lower line marked on the outside of dumpster. Filling past this point
could cause unsafe overweight conditions, and you may be required to remove material before we will remove the dumpster. Before placing any of these heavier materials in any containers, please review the terms and conditions of your agreement and contact customer service rep for guidance on how much is allowed in the container. Do not fill the container above lower line level with these materials. Excess debris MUST be removed by the customer before the container will be removed from the site. Customers will be charged for Evergreen Dumpster Service LLC to make a second trip to collect a dumpster that was uncollectible.
Will it damage my driveway?
We highly recommend that the customer protect any surface where the dumpster is going to be placed with a sheet of plywood. Customer affirms that any right of way provided by the customer (disclosed in delivery questions) for the dumpster is sufficient to bear the weight of all contractors’ equipment and vehicles required to perform the contracted service. The customer assumes all liabilities for damages to private driving surfaces, pavement or road surfaces and entire container placement site. We are not responsible for any damages to any private pavement or accompanying subsurface of any route necessary to perform the services contained herein and shall not be responsible for overhead objects such as electrical wire, overhanging rooflines or leaves, trees, etc.
Is it necessary for someone to be there when the dumpster is delivered or removed?
It is preferred to have someone onsite for delivery or removal of the container. The driver will use their best judgment and place the container in the safest accessible area when delivering the container. If you have specific placement instructions we suggest that you be at the location when the driver arrives at your drop off site. If you aren’t present at the time of delivery and aren't satisfied with the placement of the dumpster, you may call customer service and ask for the Dumpster to be relocated. Relocation fees will apply. For removal; customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled pick up day; if the equipment is inaccessible, the customer is subject to additional pick up charges, as terms and conditions apply.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You may cancel or change an order by calling us at 865-399-6963 or 865-399-6960. You need to have the service address available for cancellation or making changes to your order. All changes to order must be done one business day in advance to allow for processing.
What if I need a larger dumpster?
Please review container sizes for assistance in confirming the best-sized container to fit your needs. If you are still unsure, we strongly suggest that you call customer services for assistance to help you choose the right size for your specific need. If the container you have rented has filled-up but your project/need is not completed you will need to rent another dumpster. You will be charged for the additional dumpster.
What if the date I need the dumpster changes?
You may change an order by calling us. You need to have your service location available for making changes to your order. All order modifications must be done one business day in advance to allow for processing. There is no charge for changing a delivery date if requested at least one day in advance, simply call us at 865-399-6963 or 865-399-6960.

How far in advance do I need to order?
1-2 days for single dumpster and 1-2 days for large construction projects needing multiple containers.
Is emergency delivery available?

Is service available 24 hours?
Our normal business hours are 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, but you may call, contact via internet or leave a message and we may be able to meet your need. Additional charges may be applied for after hours service.
What if I need an extra haul?
You can have additional hauls with your order but you will be charged the full initial quoted amount for each time we empty a dumpster. Each time we drop an empty, it is considered a new rental.
What if the driver comes for delivery or removal and I am not ready for the the dumpster to be dropped or removed?
If our driver arrives on the scheduled delivery or pick up date and you do not want the dumpster dropped of or removed, an additional $75 will be added to your order for the trip charge. To avoid this, please call as soon as you know you need to change your drop or pick up date, preferable one day in advance.
What if I need to keep dumpster longer or have it removed sooner?
If you want to modify the date your dumpster rental is picked up, you may do so by calling us at 865-399-6963 or 865-399-6960. You need to have your service location available for making changes to your order. Our normal rental period is a generous 10 days unless otherwise agreed upon, but if you need it longer just give us a call. Additional charges may apply for excessively long rentals. There is no charge for early pick up.
Will I be charged for extra weight?
Yes, additional charges will be levied if your tonnage goes over the included tons quoted in your rental agreement. See the Size page for details on weight restrictions by dumpster size. Any weight exceeding the limits will be charged to your order at $55 per ton.
How much weight can I place in my dumpster?
13 yard dumpster - 5,000 LBS
17 yard dumpster - 6,000 LBS
21 yard dumpster - 7,000 LBS
25 yard dumpster - 8,000 LBS
Overweight charges will apply to anything over these limits.
What are my payment options?
We accept cash, check, and credit cards.
What does the price include?
The price includes delivery, collection, dump fees and 10 days rental time. Extended rental available upon agreement. There may be a charge for delivery to extended service areas.
Can I place a dumpster on the street?
Some municipalities require a permit to put a dumpster on the street. YOU, the CUSTOMER are responsible for determining if a permit is needed and if so, for obtaining the permit. We will put the container where you instruct us. If we place a dumpster on the street and are contacted by local officials because a permit was required by not obtained, we will contact you and offer to move the container to a new location. In this case a $75.00 relocation charge will be applied to your order. We are not responsible for fines to the property owner as a result of our dumpster placement. If we are ordered by local officials to move the dumpster and you have no secondary location available, we will remove the dumpster and no refund will be provided. Please check to see if you need a permit before asking us to drop a dumpster on a residential street.
How much space is needed for the dumpster for delivery?
Please refer to the container dimensions listed on Sizes & Prices page. It is recommended to provide space to accommodate double the amount of the length and height of the container to assure adequate space clearance.
Where will my trash be disposed of?
All of our dumpsters will be disposed of in approved facilities.
